How to Order
We do not have the ability to take orders from our website, it is purely for showing our product range.
If you would like to make a purchase, please feel free to email us on sales@steelbits.co.uk with the products you are after and then will happily provide you with a price. If you are happy with the price, then we can create you a proforma invoice which can be paid via BACS payment or by using the pay now button on the PDF that will allow you to pay via a card online through our worldpay payment gateway.
If you already have an account with us, then please email us with a PO for the products you are after.
Please make sure to include a deliver contact name and number for delivery notifications and in case the driver struggles to find the address.
Custom Orders
Some of our products can be customised with your logo/site name/company colours. You will find these on our website as branded products, the image and description will show you what about this product can be customised, the size the logo can go up too and where abouts they will be placed.
Please make sure when sending across your company logo that it is either a very high quality .PNG or in an editable .PDF format that will allow us to resize the logo without compromising the print quality.
Despatch
All delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed, usually it will be sent out before the estimated delivery date but occasionally it may take a little longer.
All stock orders placed before 10:30am will be dispatched the same working day.
Custom orders or out of stock products that are not straight from the manufacture/Fabricator or made to order have an estimated 2 week lead time.
Orders are only sent out once all products are in stock, we do not do partial deliveries. The only exception is products that come straight from the manufacture/fabricator as these will be sent directly from them.
Straight from Supplier and Manufacturer orders will be placed with them the same day and are estimated to be dispatched within the given lead time.
Sometimes
this can take longer depending on their stock levels and how busy they are. If
they update us with a longer lead time we will contact you to let you know.
We do not send out despatch notifications, but if you have put a contact number and email on your order then these will be notified by our delivery company that you have a parcel from us coming.
Feel free to email us though once you have placed your order to check up on how it is coming along and to see if the estimated delivery date has changed.
Orders
If you have received your order and something is missing, please notify us within 5 days from the delivery so we are able to double check our CCTV to see if it was packed or not, if it wasn’t then we will either sort a replacement or refund the amount of the product missing.
If you do not notify us within 5 days then we will only be able to offer a refund as a solution.
If an order has turned up damaged, please take a few pictures of the damaged product and if there is any damage to the packing as well. We will then ask you to pack the product back in its original packaging and then get our courier to collect this directly from you, once we have received the product back and checked it over we will get a replacement one sent out.
For products or parts for products under £10 we reserve the right to give a refund for this instead of sending out a replacement.
You must make us aware of any returns within 14 days of the item being received, anything over this we reserve the right to turn down the return.
The original delivery fee will not be refunded for a partial/full returned order.
There is a 10% restocking fee for all returned products up to £50.
All delivery fees for the returns are to be paid by the customer, if you would rather we collect them then this will be charged at our standard delivery rate.
All products must be returned in their original packaging and in an unused condition, failure to do so will result in the product being refused and a delivery fee charged for sending the product back to the delivery address on the order.
